The PoE port (RJ-45) complies with the IEEE802.3af&at standard. The output voltage is typically DC48V and the maximum power is 30W. With the development of technology, the IEEE802.3bt standard is ready for single-port output power up to 60W. It can power higher-power IP terminal devices, such as IP network TV, notebook. Computer, etc.
1. According to the use environment: industrial / commercial
Industrial grade switch: the environment used is harsh, the working temperature needs a wide range (-40~75 °C), the port needs to have the industrial grade 4 lightning protection level, used in Electricity, rail transit, railways, coal mines, construction sites, road monitoring, military, oil drilling,airports,automobiles, industrial automation and other industries.
Commercial switch: generally used in the office or computer room environment, operating temperature range (0~40 °C), the port has a regular protection level, used in the operator, Enterprises, schools, hospitals, homes, etc., can also be used in CCTV, wireless coverage and other industries.
2. According to the management form: non-network management / button management / web-network management / enterprise-level network management;
Non-management: functions as a network splitter, plug and play, expansion port, no configuration required
Button management: There are button switches on the switch, and the corresponding functions will be realized when dialing to
the corresponding position. Common port isolation (VLAN) functions are available.
Web-Smart management: Use web pages to manage ports inside the switch to implement VLAN, mirroring, link aggregation, RSTP and other functions.
Enterprise-level network management: You can use the serial cable, telnet, SSH, web to manage the switch port. The hardware processor is higher than the web network management Also richer.
3. According to the port rate is divided into: 100Mbps/ 100 + Gigabit / Gigabit / Gigabit + 10G;
100Mbps: The transmission rate of all ports is: 10/100Mbps optical port: 155Mbps

4. According to the number of ports: 5 / 9 / 16 / 24 / 48;
PoE switches are classified according to the number of ports: 4-port/8-port/16-port/24-port (PSE chips are generally multiples of 4, except for single-port and 2-port);
Low power version: 4 ports (45W) / 8 ports (65W / 96W) / 16 ports (150W) / 24 ports (280W).
Conventional power version: 4 ports (65W) / 8 ports (125W) / 16 ports (250W) / 24 ports (370W).
High power version: 4 ports (125W) 8 ports / (240W) 16 ports (480W) / 24 ports (720W).
For the choice of power supply, it can be determined according to the power consumption of the terminal used in the actual project.
5. According to the installation method: desktop / 1U standard rack / rail
Desktop type: The number of ports is small, such as 5.9, which can be placed on a suitable desktop or on the side of a wall or table where the self-tapping screws are located.
1U standard rack: The switch with 16/24/48 ports is standard rack mount and can be mounted to a standard 1U (44.5mm height) cabinet.
Rail mounting: Industrial grade 4/8 ports are generally mounted with rails, as the outdoor cabinets are equipped with rails for easy installation and maintenance.
6. According to the port form: RJ-45/SFP optical module slot / SC / ST / M12
RJ-45: The standard Ethernet interface, commonly known as the electrical port, interfaces with the network crystal head to form the data transmission.
SFP optical module slot: It is a kind of optical module slot. It provides an interface for users to extend the network distance. Supports, and supports 155Mbps and 1.25Gbps.

SC/ST: Cured on the optical transmission port of the switch, the interface form is different, and it is common to use more power.
M12: It belongs to a highly reliable connector. The port can be locked with a nut. It is generally used in rail traffic,railway, and car.
7. According to the access mode: access switch / aggregation switch / core switch
Access switch: refers to the switch connected to the terminal (PC, printer, camera, AP, etc.), working in the second layer of the OSI model.
Aggregation switch: refers to the switch connected to the access switch, working in the second layer of the OSI model.
Core switch: refers to the switch connected to the aggregation switch, working in the third layer of the OSI model.
